The “snooze” button on your iPhone may be a thing of the past if one group gets it’s way.

Eve Sleep, a sleep wellness company, claimed having a nine minute alarm actually undermines the benefit of a good night’s sleep and its urging Apple to remove the feature.

Some studies linked the use of alarms and snooze buttons to illnesses but not everyone agrees it’s a major risk.

If you are the type that doesn’t jump out of bed at the first alarm, this may be difficult for you. An article from the New York said pressing the snooze button multiples the “assault on your brain and body.”
